National charity Toc H, in partnership with Croydon Borough Council, offers an exciting opportunity for an experienced cook to join its new 62 place nursery opening in Croydon in January 2008.

You will be responsible for helping with the management of a nursery kitchen, organising, preparing and delivering nursery meals in accordance with the nursery';s menus, food policies and individual dietary requirements.
To ensure that the highest standards of health and safety apply to both children, staff, parents and visitor, maintaining a safe and secure environment whilst ensuring that hygiene and cleanliness within the kitchen is of the highest standard in accordance with Environmental Health requirements and legislation.

You will be responsible for control, storage and rotation of kitchen stock, food ordering and equipment ordering as and when required and within the nursery budget.

Salaries will be in accordance with Toc H';s national nursery scales, but in addition there is a pension scheme, life cover and 25 days holiday (pro rata) per annum. Start January 2008.
