A MOUSE IN THE HOUSE

24 Jul 2007
A giant blue mouse arrived at Toc H's Lindridge House in Kingsteignton in July to celebrate a new climbing wall that is being built there thanks to funding from internet search engine www.everyclick.com

Everyclick, which was established in June 2005 has raised over £248,375 for charities by allocating 50 per cent of its gross revenue. Each active charity receives a proportion of that sum equivalent to the proportion in which its supporters use the website.

Toc H joined Everyclick last summer asking staff, members and supporters to change their internet home page to www.everyclick.com/uk/toch and as a consequence has raised over £400.

Toc H's Lindridge House is a large welcoming house situated in three acres of enchanting gardens, surrounded by fields and wooded hills. It is very popular for group activities and is used by schools, church groups, youth groups, disadvantaged groups for holidays and even families for parties and weddings.

John Smith, centre manager, said: “While Lindridge is superbly placed and has plenty of room for group activities, we are trying to increase the facilities on offer, but as a charity raising funds for these is quite difficult. We are delighted that the contribution from Everyclick.com has enabled us to forge ahead with the building of our climbing wall and we also have plans in the near future to build a kayaking lake with the support of local businesses.”
