| An exciting week lies ahead for almost 30 pre-school children and babies as they embark on a new journey of discovery and learning in Blacon. Toc H Brighter Beginnings Nursery, which opened its doors yesterday (Tuesday, 5th September 2006), is housed in the new Sure Start Centre in Carlisle Street, Blacon, formerly Blacon Hall Junior School which has recently undergone £1.5 million refurbishment. Alison Johnston, nursery manager, said: “We look forward to welcoming all of the children, who will be joining us in a staggered intake over the coming week to help them settle in easily.
