| The Toc H Tea Pot Competition was officially launched by Henry Sandon of the Antiques Road Show at the Spring Fair, NEC, Birmingham in February. The competition aims to engage and encourage young people to express and demonstrate their talents in art. Children and young adults from all areas of the country are being asked to create a design which will be produced on tea pots in a limited edition. There are six age groups ranging from nursery school children through to 24 year olds. Judges for the competition, which is running in conjunction with the Stoke on Trent Ceramic industry, include Henry Sandon and Eric Knowles of the Antiques Roadshow and winners announced in May. An award ceremony, where the winning tea pots will be displayed will be held during the Stoke on Trent Ceramic Festival in October. | ![]() |
