LIVELY CONCERT11 Dec 2007 |
|
| The sound of drums, bells and whistles drew visitors in from the streets at Toc H's annual Christmas Carol concert held at All Hallows By The Tower, London on Friday. Pupils from St Mark's Academy in Mitcham brought a lively atmosphere to the festive event as music from the school's Samba band echoed through the aisles. The school's talented choir also filled the church with their lively versions of Joy To The World and Oh Happy Day. Toc H members from the London area and even as far as Sussex, Nottinghamshire and Bedfordshire were welcomed by the Rev'd Bertrand Oliver, Vicar of All Hallows, to join the celebrations. Lunch, mince pies and mulled wine was served by a team of volunteers led by Toc H's Angela Gregory. | ![]() |
