PAYING BACK TO THE COMMUNITY24 Jul 2007 |

| Toc H's Peppermint Centre in Croydon has recently benefited from a Community Payback Project. Offenders have worked unpaid, supervised by London Probation staff and police officers to renovate a piece of waste land and a wooden play area. Now completed the land is environmentally safe for children to play supervised and will also be used for fetes and open days. The project was supported by IKEA, B&Q, McDonalds, Brandon Tool Hire, Crown Tree Surgery, Boots, M Davey (JCB) M&S, Burger King, and Homebase – all of which supplied goods and services free-of-charge.
